Looking back at the beginning of the year, I thought I was invincible. Nothing could ever hurt me. Now look, I lost my best friend, I got into trouble, I will never have the family I once had. But now I see that its not about who is in your life it is about who you are. You pick yourself up when you fall. You show yourself the right path to take. No one should ever tell you how to live your life or try and force you down a path you do not want to take.

Out to my friends. In the closet to my family. I basically stopped living the Barbie doll life that every wanted me to and starting living for myself. My motto became my life, my happiness. I chose an amazing woman to join me on my life journey. We’re in love. 

Gay marriage was very interesting to me because of all the different perspectives people have. Since I am gay it was nice to know how others feel about my life style.
